The sweater gets a work out.

Yes it is too big at the moment, but I hear that will change. Not much knitting going on at the moment. I do have a feeling that there are a few baby clothes in the future. I've started a Christmas stocking that needs felting before I add a top trim.

The hat in the going home outfit was made by my college roomate. It has matching booties which don't show here but are very cute.

New Baby Girl!

Well it's been awhile, and the sweater from my first post was actually used today to bring home our little sweetpea. I'm still in shock from the fact that I'm a mother!! So for the next six weeks it will be just trying to get back to some semblance of a routine. (I hesitate to say "a normal life.")

In just over two months my husband and I will be headed to Florence, Italy for 5 months with our new addition.

I plan to peruse the towns for knit shops, and old collectable items.

I'll try to keep you updated on our weekly adventures.

Ciao,
Petunia
